 Software Projects was the name of a computer game development company which employed [[Manic Miner]] developer [[Matthew Smith]]. After leaving Bug-Byte as a freelance developer, Smith was able to take the rights to his recently developed [[Manic Miner]] game with him, due to an oversight in his freelance contract. -Conversions of both [[Manic Miner]] and [[Jet Set Willy]] to the Dragon were completed by [[Roy Coates]] using a Dragon running [[FLEX]] - but without access to [[Mathew Smith]]'s source code - The game was created by playing the Sinclair Spectrum version and copying the behaviour and graphics by hand. The extra RAM in the Dragon allowed [[Roy Coates]] to add a few additional levels to [[Manic Miner]].
